At Foundation Equity II, we have the following investing philosophies:

1. We invest in businesses, not ideas. We only make investments in companies that are revenue positive, are past the research and development stage, and have entered the commercialization stage. That being said, we also don’t invest in businesses that we can’t understand or that you can’t explain it to us.
2. We invest in people that we believe in and we trust. We invest in the management team of the organization, just as much as the business itself. We value a track record of success and integrity.
3. We are not passive investors. When we make an investment, we play an active role at the board level to grow the business and maximize the potential of the investee company. We believe that 20% of our success relies on is choosing the right investments and 80% relies on our ability to manage that investment into the future.
